Synthesis Series will be a two day course. On day one the morning lecture will cover materials, armamentarium, shade mapping, & tooth contour. The afternoon hands-on portion will focus on a simple technique for a single shade build up with shape and texture as the main focus. The second day will be entirely hands-on beginning with a two layer technique and finishing with a multi-shade, advanced layering technique.

This course is a MUST. I’ve taken several composite classes and I’ve even seen several of their composite artistry lectures and shorter versions either live or in online CE. However it truly does not compare to an intense two days of detailed protocols and hands-on instruction with both Amanda and Adamo right there to give you immediate feedback. The class is just the right size to not get lost in the shuffle, and there are so many pearls shared along the way as well. Quality of the presentations are setting CE standards really high and the venue and city are beautiful as well. You leave feeling armed with the right protocols and understanding to take your composites to the next level on Monday. However, even better is that you leave truly inspired by these two amazing people and educators, ready to dream a little bigger. The really are doing something special.

This composite course is a must. Hands down. As general dentists, we are “supposed to know” how to recreate a tooth, yet we never get to practice layering composites or add tints in school. This course gives the opportunity to play with all sorts of composites and tints to do just that (before investing a ton of money in one system you may not like). They give you the “why” behind every step so you can choose your method, materials, and instruments. The instructors are also passionate and FUN which make it so much easier to stay engaged. There is both lecture and hands-on practice (with repetition and individual feedback) with lots of goodies to take home and get started right away. One of the best courses I’ve taken.

Amanda and Adamo are amazing! Highly recommend this course. The course material is presented in a very organized and easy to follow format. Class size is intimate so that everyone has a chance to ask a question. The whole imPRES team is so kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. There is a lot of different composites that they provide so you can learn how different ones handle and what works best for you in your hands. Lots of hands on and guidance throughout the entire class. Excited to return for another course!

You learn several different techniques to shade match and restore anterior teeth with composite using a variety of different composite and tints from multiple brands. The hands on aspect of the class is definitely the highlight. Adamo and Amanda are absolute rock-stars, and they each spend as much time with you as you need to ensure you are comfortable with the techniques.

I look at the cases I am able to pull off today, and there is no way I could achieve the level of artistry before taking this course.

Definitely a must if you are looking to become accredited with the AACD.

I’m already signed up for another course with imPRES as I write this.

A masterclass in shade mapping, and anterior restorations. The way the course is laid out really builds your foundations in the elements of colour and different techniques that you can combine and use in any scenario.

I also have to say that Adamo and Amanda are so generous, and humble with their knowledge, expertise, and experience. It’s great that they spend time with everyone to share their feedback and their little clinical tips and tricks.

This course is a must, especially for anyone that is on a journey to get accredited with the AACD.
