A great course that teaches you skills you can implement into your daily practice the next day. Dr. Kois goes deep into literature analysis about the periodontium and managing biological width. Hands on skills taught include transsulcular probing (sounding to bone), flapless crown lengthening, Pontic site development, and esthetic crown lengthening. Since taking this course, I have begun adding these procedures to my repertoire and have really improved my restorative results through proper tissue management. Dr. Kois goes further to talk about partial extraction therapy, orthodontic extrusion of teeth for restorative purposes and the use of fillers to close black triangles. A great course if you are looking to predictably manage tissue for restorative treatment and avoid black triangles!

This course alone will pay for itself since you leave being able to intrasulcularly crown lengthen when you get back to the office. Kois is completely about predictability and mitigating the patient’s risk. Hands down this is an amazing course.
