Since my dental education began I have attended dental conferences & conventions with a typical hierarchy akin to the caste system. Attendees & product representatives would be at a different level from the speakers, hosts & sponsors. There was a clear difference in class, one that coldly divided & separated.

DIA disrupted this structure.

Speakers, sponsors, dental representatives & attendees were at equal footing. The founders of DIA created an environment that not only encouraged interaction but fostered it to flourish! Lectures were engaging instead of homework, vendors were sociable with no looming pitch, just genuine belief in their products. Most incredibly, attendees who were once known to each other remotely finally met in person!

Ours is a profession built on networking. DIA made that happen in more ways that anyone can imagine.

DIA was great , it’s not your typical conference , it is mostly structured around social connections and Aha moment’s.
Clinical Education is not the main component yet they still delivered some nice breakout sessions.
To me it was more of the Ultimate Dental Social Even #UDSE ………not bad for a name ?
