Dr. Todd Engel Introduction
This one-week comprehensive internship is the culmination of all concepts taught within our portfolio of surgical programs. Each doctor and team member(s) will have the opportunity to engage within each aspect of surgical dentistry to build sound building blocks for the future. Our signature clinic setting with interaction on live patients is an invaluable tool for all clinicians who wish to develop the acumen to evolve and transition into a GP focused surgical practice.
The Core
Emphasis will be placed on attracting the appropriate patients for your private practice, providing sound diagnostic options for your patients, treatment presentation, along with the entire surgical sequence and strategic execution of implant dentistry, regardless how small or large the case may be. We will also focus on daily habits that influence the success and profitability of your surgical practice. All fundamental concepts and key elements will be instilled to ensure surgical and prosthetic success moving forward. This will prove to be an invaluable opportunity for those who wish to take their practice t the highest level of care.
Live Surgery
Each day, there will be a short morning classroom session to review concepts for that given day, which will then be practiced within the clinic for the remainder of that day. There are 4 full days of morning lecture and the remainder of the day will be surgical cases. The 5th day, Friday – will be a half day of observing/assisting Dr. Engel perform live conversion cases. Each attending doctor will perform surgeries for a single to multiple patients per day under the supervision of dr. Engel and/or institute mentors.
