This was a last minute decision. The cost had me re considering it for a few days prior. But, based on a little encouragement from my family, I decided to go for it. It turned out to be an excellent experience. The course was full of YOUNG speakers (some of them 29 year old dentists who had bought their own practice within the last year) discussing business tips, how to buy a practice, evaluate practice financials, seek a loan, get case acceptance etc. Mainly I came back from this 2.5 day long course super charged and motivated. It also landed me with a ton of contacts amongst dentists, business coaches and dental students. There was also a course in beginner photography by an AACD accredited member Dr. Sisler, which was tremendously useful.

I think all in all, this was the best business course I’ve taken all year. I came back home with definite goals and a game plan for what to do next and how to accomplish certain things, and I think that’s the best takeaway from any course.
