Jump into the World of Guided Implant Placement

This course is geared towards dentist who are interested in learning digital workflows for guided implant placement. This hands on course provides instruction on how to properly digitally plan implants in Planmeca Romexis. We discuss surgical guide fabrication and printing. We then place an implant on a model using guided implant principles. The concept of custom healing abutments and presurgical prosthetics will also be covered.

Day 1

  • Location angulation and depth
  • URIS implant system review
  • Plan an anterior implant hands on and design pre-surgical provisional
  • Print surgical guide and provisional for anterior
  • Review custom healer
  • Print custom healer

 

Day 2

  • Implant surgical placement techniques and review of the URIS guided kit
  • Hands on placement of URIS implant model using guide
  • Characterize presurgical provisional
  • Bond on Ti base and screw into model
