This is an excellent comprehensive course for those looking to begin restoring implants from single unit to multiple missing teeth and full arch cases. The prosthetic course is divided into two sessions over two weekends. In session 1, Dr. Diana provides a thorough review of dental implants and their components, treatment planning, anatomy and histology related to implant surgery and integration, case selection etc. Session 2 focuses on impression techniques, digital imaging, abutment options, screw-retained vs cement etc. Other important topics such as latest technology related to implants, follow-up and maintenance, management of complications are also covered. This prosthetic course provides a great background knowledge that prepares participants well for the implant surgery course that comes afterwards. This is a small group setting which allows for a very interactive learning experience.
