Amazing course directors (Dr. Fava and Dr. Lai). Dr. Lai (periodontist) presents the surgical skills, and Dr. Fava (prosthodontist) presents the restorative skills. They work as a good team and provide thorough explanations for all procedures with consistent information.
Good flow of information from the surgical phase (Jan-June) to the prosthetic phase (Sept-Dec). Presented multiple case studies with research based methods and rationale. Good hands-on clinical instruction and case selection criteria. Not many implants are placed in the course, but you’ll learn how to place a good one.
Exam at the end was moderately difficult.
