PDC is a nice conference for those in BC (as it is included in the license registration dues) and those who want to visit BC. I would not say it is my favorite conference, especially as the US has much larger ones, but it is one of the best in Canada. Quite a wide arrange of courses to sign up for but some of the hands-on workshops have an extra charge. Lots of vendors are present showing off the latest dental technology.

This conference makes for a fun team outing to stay up to speed on what’s developing in the dental field in a casual and beautiful setting near the Vancouver waterfront.

I’m a practicing dentist in Vancouver so my admission is “free” (aka elevated membership fees) and I like to take a day or two to attend. I think it’s the best conference in Canada but I heard it cannot compete to the ones in the States. The PDC is held at the waterfront which is absolutely beautiful, great for those visiting. I enjoy the variety of lectures available and the hands-on sessions offered are also a good deal. Enjoy some live surgeries as well for entertainment!

All the courses are overpriced for what you’re getting, Vancouver is a beautiful city though so I’d recommend going at least once
