Center for Dental Artistry David K. Chan, DMD AAACD THE MASTERS COURSE SYNOPSIS
This advanced course is an ideal opportunity for the dentist who desires to offer their patients exceptional “Composite Art” dentistry. This is also an essential program designed for those clinicians who may be pursuing accreditation in dental organizations, which includes composite artistry. These candidates are required to demonstrate clinical excellence and knowledge of complex anterior direct restorations. Creating six direct veneers is one of the most comprehensive and difficult cases to master. Excellence in case selection followed by preparation, tooth morphology, matrix placement, and material selection must be perfectly controlled to achieve the ultimate esthetic result. Fine detail in the clinical fundamentals, step by step, must be performed precisely; including anatomical layering to include ideal opacity and translucency, hand finishing, texture and final polishing. This three day intensive hands-on workshop will provide attendees with proven foundational fundamentals and esthetic principals for success. All aspects of this course will be taught, demonstrated, performed, and discussed systematically, with the goal of demystifying the complexity of restoring up to six teeth with composite restorative material. When properly engineered and seamlessly blended, the clinician can create composite art that can rival the beauty of natural teeth.
