I typically go to every regional ADA meeting and the Hinman is certainly the best of these. Travel, accommodations, restaurants and general organization is fantastic. The committee also gets top quality speakers and great hands on courses. But I think as is true for all large meetings, the offerings are getting repetitive and the show floor is not as vibrant. But overall a solid meeting, I’d recommend you come in Wednesday night. Take course on Thursday and Friday and leave Friday evening. Also as mentioned by other reviews, take time to research your particular speaker.

For a regional meeting I think Hinman has a lot of positives. Some of the courses are a little hit or miss but overall the value is there. They offer a large variety of specialize and hands on courses that enable an attendee to get as little or as much out of the meeting as possible. Typical vendor showcase with all of the big names too. Atlanta is a great city with plenty of fun to be had outside the meeting. I would recommend reviewing the speakers prior to paying for a course though took a composite course that was essentially how to use a sectional matrix… Not that some people need help with that but it was rather void of the clinical pearls I was looking for.
