Introduction
Does the thought of extracting impacted or broken down teeth put fear into your heart? Do you know what to do if you perforate the sinus or how to avoid the mental foramen?
Buying expensive devices is not the solution. Understanding the fundamental principles of oral surgery, patient selection, correct instrumentation and dental anatomy is. Extracting a tooth should not cause the dentist more anxiety than the patient. Relax and learn to do it right.
Course Objectives
The Ti-Max Oral Surgery program will provide the participant with the fundamental knowledge to be able to extract teeth and preserve the residual alveolar ridge. The course is designed to provide you with a logical approach to evaluating the patient and their specific condition, determine the optimum technique, time and fee to complete the treatment. Participants will have an opportunity to extract teeth, of varying complexity, on real patients. Everyone will get a chance to perform surgery on their own patients. No patient? No problem! We’ll even supply the patients. Ask us how.
You will learn:
- Patient selection and evaluation
- Surgical techniques: simple and complicated extractions, extraction of unerupted teeth, biopsy techniques, frenectomy and socket graft procedures
- Surgical instrumentation
- Managing complications and post-op healing
- Hands-on surgery experience with real patients
